Jade McGregor (they/them) is a Canadian educator and writer living and working on the unceded traditional territory of the qʷɑ:nʔəlʔən (Kwantlen), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), Máthxwi (Matsqui), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) First Nations, also known as Aldergrove, BC. They hold an MEd in Special Education, a BEd, and a BFA (Class 1 distinction) from the University of British Columbia. Their poetry and prose has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Queen’s Quarterly, PRISM International, Plenitude Magazine, BULL, manywor(l)ds, and other journals. Jade’s work has been nominated for Best of the Net. They are a former editorial collective member and fiction reader for Room.
